The snow is not here yet, but we are sure getting ready for it. We can’t wait for all that magic to start again.

This picture is from last year, when the snow was really coming down and we were heading to a great adventure.

It’s starting

Our first snow

The weather is starting to freeze our feet here in Chicago, and I can’t say I don’t miss California. But even there, we were seeking the snow, the cold air, this magical feeling that only the winter brings, at least for me. And even though California is known for its warm weather, it gave me the gift of snow for the first time in my life.

We took Valente, our beautiful Golden, to Big Bear Lake for his first day in the snow in 2015. You can see in his face how much he loved it. Now we are getting ready for this time again, and I must say that I’m already all excited.
